The small village Nicov lies 2 km south-east of the small town Plánice, 550 m a.s.l.
The pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary in Nicov is a significant representative of the crowning Baroque architecture. It was built under the design of K. I. Dienzenhofer between 1719 - 1730. It has a square nave with a lot of carvings from the second half of the 18th century.
The rarity is a radioactive spring near the road from Nicov in the direction of Plánice.
