The protected area V Obouch lies near the confluence of Lomnice and Skalice rivers about 12 km north of the town Pisek south-west of the village Dolní Ostrovec. The stony bed of the Lomnice river and flora and fauna are protected here.

The protected area is accessible along the small road from the village Ostrovec to the valley of the Lomnice river or along the red and blue marked tourist paths from Pisek or from the small village Vráž.
