The nature reserve Milešický Prales (Milešice Forest) lies on the eastern slope of Boubín mountain near the monument called Křížová Smrč ("Cross Spruce"). The area of the protected part of the original cold rainforest is about 10 ha and consists of a 250 - 300 years old original spruce and fir forest.

The red marked path from the towns Vimperk (about 15 km) or Volary (about 12 km) leads to the reserve. The blue sign leading from the settlement Kubova Huť joins the red one, which runs to the reserve as well (about 7 km).
