The protected area Kněz lies about 10 km north of the town Milevsko near the small village Hrazany on the dividing line between South Bohemia and Central Bohemia.
The unique sea of stones with big stones with the so-called "bowls" can be found in the mixed forest here. This forest is a habitat of some rare animals in Bohemia (blindworm and sand lizard).
The locality is named according to the biggest stone called Kněz (Priest).
The protected area Kněz can be found on the red marked path, which leads from Milevsko to the small town Petrovice. It is on the outskirts of Hrazany, which is accessible along the road as well.
