The instructional trail Lipno runs on the bank of the Lipno Dam in the area between northern part of the holliday centre Lipno nad Vltavou and small town Frymburk, about 25 km south-west from the town Český Krumlov.

Forest, its protection and forest management are main theme of the trail. The natural, cultural, and historical interests of the region are also mentioned.

The path is about 5.5 km long with 7 informative boards. It begins on the parking-lot above Lipno nad Vltavou and it leads to the locality called "Na Martě" above the small town Frymburk.
The trail goes mostly along the yellow sign from Lipno nad Vltavou to Frymburk, but it is also marked by its own mark. It is passable for pedestrians and also for cyclists.
On the route there are some resting places and a place with a nice view of the Alps (Alpine View).
