The instructional trail Údolím Černé ("Through the Valley of the Černá River") leads in the area between the town Kaplice and the small town Benešov nad Černou, between the Novohradské Hory (Nové Hrady Mountains) and the Slepičí Hory (Hen Mountains), in the valley of the Černá river.
The trail is dedicated to acquaint visitors with regional interests alongside the Černá river and particularly also with the history of timber-floating and water power station, with history of the Sokolčí castle and its remainders, and at last but not least also with the romantic valley of the Černá river.
The trail is only passable for hiking tourists. There are 12 informative boards along 4 km long path. The path of the trail is marked by green-white signs.
Access to the point of departure (by the dam of the Soběnov Dam) is possible along the road from Kaplice to Benešov nad Černou, turning left after the settlement Hradiště. The other way is also possible along the red tourist sign from Kaplice (about 4 km) or along the yellow sign from Benešov nad Černou (about 6 km).
