The originally Romanesque Church of the Holy Ghost is the oldest sight in Telč. It was enlarged in 1414, when the town hospital was added, and reconstructed in the Gothic style at the end of the 15th century. At the end of the 18th century it was closed and then it was used as a town theatre in the middle of the 19th century. It was renewed after the First World War.
