The squared fountain (1667) with the statue of Immaculateness on a Tuscan column from the second half of the 18th century, which was originally used as a pillory, stands in the middle of the lower square.
Most of the Gothic and Renaissance houses are from the second half of the 16th century and their entrance halls have the diamond vaults and painted walls.
Houses No. 459, 476 (museum in present), 479 and 480 are the most interesting buildings in the lower square.
