The small village Mokrosuky lies about 7 km north-west of the town Sušice, 530 m a.s.l.
The village was property of the Velhartice castle in the 14th century. Later Mokrosuky was under the ownership of the Hrádek castle ("Small Castle"), then of the town Kolinec and in the 17th century it became a possession of the Hrádek castle again. In the 16th century the village became the centre of the manor.
The most important building is the original water fortress, which was rebuilt into a two-winged Renaissance mansion with arcades and a facade decorated with graffiti. The chapel was added to the mansion later, but it was destroyed - only the semicircular niche has been preserved up till the present day.
The remains of gold mining - placers - can be seen in the surroundings near the Ostružná river.
In the surroundings of the small village Kašovice (near the railway station Mokrosuky), there are remains of the Kašovice fortress.
