The mechanical Bethlehem, which is located in the town museum, is the lifelong work of the stocking-weaver Tomáš Krýza. It comprises 1,398 pieces and 133 of them (people and animals) can move. They are connected with cylinders (by strings). In past they were propelled manually (in present they are propelled by electricity).
The wooden figurines are 16 cm tall - only heads are from plastic. The landscape is made from paper. The system is 17 m long, 2 m high and 2 m wide.
