The small village Dobrš is located about 12 km west of the town Volyně, 710 m a.s.l.

The village was property of the family Koc of Dobrš in the 14th century. The owners often changed through time and from 1707 it was under the ownership of the Schwarzenbergs and it became a liege village of the Přečín mansion.

The Gothic fortress stood in Dobrš in the 14th century, but it was destroyed in 1421. The new Renaissance fortress was built here in 1561 and it has been preserved to this day.

The originally Romanesque Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin was founded in the middle of the 13th century. It was reconstructed in the Late-Gothic style in the 16th century and then in the Baroque style during the 17th century.
The Church of Sts. John and Paul in the cemetery originates from the 16th century.

The village Přečín lies about 2 km south of Dobrš. The mansion, the originally Gothic fortress from the end of the 14th century which was rebuilt about 1700, can be seen there.
